The unique shape of the ladder means that it is no longer just an object that helps you climb to some height, you can also createextremely functional decorations from it. Here are 8 ideas for creative use of a ladder in interior design.

The traditional wooden lad der has a particularly interesting shape. It can serve us in many ways. If the ladder has rungs on two sides, you can even make it into a capacious shelf. To achieve such an effect, it is necessary to put the appropriate number of boards between the rungs placed at the same height. To make sure that the structure will be stable, we can fix the boards permanently. Unfortunately, however, in this case we will no longer be able to close the ladder.
2 Vertical casket
When we have a lot of beautiful jewelry to display we can use the ladder as a stand for earrings and other trinkets. All we need to do is to attach a fine metal mesh to the back side, for example, with pins. We can put earrings through the fine weave, thus creating a unique decoration.

It can be high or low, but it will always look great. Plants and wood will blend together wonderfully. To make the stand look well designed, use plants of different heights and sizes.
4 - Rustic chandelier
If the chandeliers that can be bought in any store do not fit our style. We can make an original decoration by using a ladder as an accent for the light fixture above the dining table. However, if this is too big an undertaking, we can even use candle-lit lanterns.

6 For toiletries
It's a good idea to fill the bathroom with extra towels and toilet paper. We can place some wicker baskets on the ladder or thread the towels through the rungs. This is a beautiful yet practical decoration for any bathroom.

Suspending the ladder from the ceiling, we can also use it as a clothes hanging rod - and a very roomy one at that! Another idea will also be to arrange such a hanger as a place for drying clothes.

Vintage-style ladders hung directly on the wall are versatile. Between the rungs, for example, we can attach pictures on strings, which we can change as often as we like. If the tiers are thick enough, they will also serve as shelves for storing small items. We can also hang painted ladders on the wall and leave them completely empty. Since they are long and narrow, they will work well above a sofa or bed.
