A niche in a wall is an arrangement challenge. However, with a little work and a good idea, we can bring out its potential. How to do it? Check out our suggestions.
1. Built-in
The most popular and very simple way to arrange a niche is to create a built-in. This is a great place for a capacious closet or a smaller cabinet that reaches halfway up the wall. You can paint the upper part of the niche in a different, interesting color. This will give you not only storage space, but also place to display decorations.

2. Dining room
If you want to separate the different zones in the living room, the niche can be used as a dining area. You can arrange a small dining room with a folding table placed with its shorter side against the wall. Add to it a few compact chairs, which you can easily store under the table. It is worth distinguishing this part of the room by painting the niche with a contrasting color.

3. Closet
A niche in a hallway or bedroom is a great space to create a closet. To start, carefully measure the available space, including width, height and depth. Then think about what items you want to put in it. This can include shelves, cabinets, clothes hangers, etc. Even a single rod on which you will hang your outer garments will give you more storage space.

A niche, especially one under a window, is a great place to arrange seat. A soft upholstered bench and a few cushions will create a cozy corner. You can also create drawers underneath it.

5. Home office
Working from home has already become the norm. However, not all of us have enough space to arrange a separate home office. Thankfully, we can create one in a niche. This is a clever way to arrange a niche in the wall. Just a few boards mounted at the right heights are enough to create a fully functional workspace.

6. Bath area
Arranging a bathroom is often a challenge. Usually these rooms are small, sometimes we also have to deal with slants. A good solution for using a niche is to arrange a bathing zone in it. A striking bathtub placed in the middle and additionally distinguished by wall decoration will make you feel like in a luxury spa.

7. A place to pursue your passions
Are you an avid reader? Or perhaps you play the piano? A niche in the wall is the perfect place to arrange a corner where you can indulge in your favorite activities. A few shelves will create a simple bookcase, while the niche will accommodate your favorite instrument, sports equipment or other accessories you need for your hobby.
