As part of an engineering project , {tag:studenci} from Rzeszow University of Technology proposed the transformation of post-mining areas. "INKLUZILOK" is a response to the challenges facing the city of Bytom, such as depopulation, urban heat islands and the deteriorating quality of life of residents. The work was created under the supervision of Dr. Anna Sikora.

consideration of the Local Land Use Plan
Natalia Makowska's design takes into account the provisions of the Local Spatial Development Plan, and also refers to the adaptation of the Krystyna Shaft and the adjacent area, developed by the architectural office medusa group. The field analysis carried out made it possible to identify key areas for improvement and determine the optimal form of the complex.

intergenerational integration and sustainable development
"INKLUZILOK," a combination of the words inclusiveness and familok, promotes integration between different age groups and provides equal access for all users and users. Natalia Makowska relied on ecological solutions such as permeable surfaces, rainwater retention basins and urban greenery. These measures minimize the negative effects of urbanization and create a healthy, friendly urban environment that responds to today's environmental challenges and climate change adaptation.

functional urban spaces
The buildings and spaces have been designed according to their functions, with a clear division into quiet and noisy zones, which significantly increases the comfort of users and occupants. Numerous recreational spaces are envisaged, including a dual-purpose space for a cyclical market, supporting local business and providing access to healthy food.A sensory playground and an outdoor cinema are included in the design, promoting physical and cultural activities outdoors, which positively impacts the quality of life of residents.

sustainable and accessible public spaces
Natalia Makowska focuses on creating unified spaces, eliminating architectural barriers and recognizing that a "special need" is a "normal need." One-story buildings with ground-level entrances and customized pathways and interior spaces provide easy access and mobility comfort for all users and users. Toilets meet the requirements of different groups, providing full functionality, including feeding and quieting areas in the form of acoustic cubicles.
