Honorable mention and a prize of PLN 10,000 were awarded to two teams. The project by Filip Zieliński, Michal Hondo, Kinga Grzybowska, Jakub Wójtowicz, Marek Grodzicki, Klaudia Golaszewska and Grzegorz Tracz was recognized for its extensive analysis of the site and its proposal to create a sports campus.
In the verdict, the jury stated:
The authors of the award made a broader analysis of the connections of the site, in which they see the potential for creating a sports campus while maintaining the continuity of green areas. They noted the broader context of the connection with the center of Piaseczno and the city park by proposing an activity path along the Pearl River watercourse. A rational argument for the idea of creating a multifunctional sports campus along Chyliczkowska Street is the financial gains from a wider audience of other activities within the campus. In the realization part, the body of the swimming pool building was accurately shaped, creating green courtyards, attractive glazing and view openings, although the scale of the building was assessed as inappropriate.
The Competition Jury found that while the body of the building is well thought out and refined, the elevations do not reflect the character of the pool facility.

Another honorable mention went to the team of Izabela Chruściel, Wojciech Dunaj and Rafał Stemporowski. The work drew the Court's attention with its innovative approach to the body of the building and apt development of the study area.
According to the jury:
The uncovering of the rain canal created a walkable, green axis, separating the parking lots from the area with a recreational function. An attractive lobby has been designed and the zoning of functions has been well solved with an interesting layout of individual pools in relation to the shape of the building. A separate saunarium zone is very attractive. Thought has also been given to serving the disabled. The indoor pool was well connected to the summer pools and a nice sloping beach zone was designed.
The court's doubts were raised by the massiveness of the block in relation to its immediate surroundings. Such a building, though covered with a lightweight membrane, would nevertheless be a significant dominant feature that, in the Court's opinion, would not fit in, either with the open green area or with the low surrounding buildings.

The Competition Jury also decided to award an honorable mention to the work by Tomasz Starczewski. The project is a creative search for form and an innovative combination of architectural means of expression.
According to the jury members:
The pool building is elegant in its simplicity. It aptly fits into the designed premise. The lightweight canopy loaded with black steel and concrete, is complemented by delicate strips of glazing detaching the building from the ground adding to its spaciousness. With the consistency of the building's form with the composition of the study area, the disposition of the interiors resulting in the separation of the interior from the proposed enclave is questionable. The form signals the continuation of the story and invites exploration. The jury regrets that the work was not completed to the end.
We congratulate all the winners and look forward to the realization of the Zwyskian swimming pool project in Piaseczno.
