Here is the best building of Poznan! The lead is led by "residential"

22 of October '24

The best realization in Poznań was the multi-family building at 23 Koscielna Street, designed by the Litoborski + Marciniak studio team. Honorable mention also went to the authors of the residential development. Will the appreciated buildings set new standards for contemporary "housing"?

The meticulously designed and executed details and sublime material combinations are a distinguishing feature of the investment, also known from the earlier realizations of the office and the investor. The jury's attention was drawn to the open character of the estate, whose inner courtyards are available to all users of the urban space," justified the decision by members of the competition jury.

contemporary tenement house

The award was given to a tenement house on Koscielna Street in Poznan's Jeżyce district. The brick-clad building with a service first floor encloses the street frontage and, as the jury noted, does not shout with its form, but is a clear spatial gesture.

The balanced elevations of the residential floors have tasteful detailing, and the materials used will promote good aging, the jury's justification reads.

The jury awarded the prize for the building's outstanding urban character, and I agree," says Jacek Jaskowiak, the mayor of Poznań. - The tenement with premises on the first floor fits in with the character of the district, he adds.

A team of Poznan architects is responsible for the project: Piotr Litoborski, Piotr Marciniak, Jędrzej Pawlaczyk, Filip Osiński, Anna Tuszyńska-Świgło, Kamil Wawra, Joanna Mielewczyk, Michał Rams. The building is also nominated for this year' s Architectural Award of the Wielkopolska Region.
