Elegant minimalism in forest colors

The apartment was designed by interior designers Angelika Front and Katarzyna Domanska of the Decoroom studio. Measuring more than 55 square meters, the apartment in Warsaw's Wawer district combines modern spaces with references to the industrial style. Thanks to the use of natural materials, golden details and a dark color palette, it was possible to achieve a coherent, elegant arrangement.

Full of contrasts with a hint of retro

Throughout the apartment, the leitmotif is concrete, which also appears on the doors. An important role in the interiors is also played by the addition of bottle green, which enlivens the rooms. The whole is complemented by precisely applied gold-colored accents: for example, lighting and flower pots. The furniture was made to measure in the carpentry shop belonging to the Decoroom studio. This allowed maximum use of the available space and adapted it to the investor's lifestyle. All the furniture was kept in one tone of dark anthracite. Countertops in the kitchen were made of laminate imitating old wooden planks. The cabinets are equipped with massive handles made of black metal, which further emphasizes the industrial aesthetics of the apartment.

Daily zone

The living area has been refined down to the smallest details - all in order to give it a cozy character, conducive to relaxation. The walls are kept in shades of gray and soothing, dim bottle green. A similar green hue is used for the large, comfortable sofa, which featured soft velour pillows in several different, but subdued and consistent colors. The same shades are repeated on the carpet. A consistent accent of the lounge area is the bio-fireplace, which emphasizes the relaxing character of this corner of the apartment. The lounge area is connected to the kitchen with the dining room, creating a spacious common living area. The wooden table was matched with comfortable chairs with a gold frame and velour upholstery in a shade of bottle green, which correspond with the sofa and the wall in the lounge area. The minimalist kitchen was separated by the use of contrasting dark furniture. The addition of wood and warm lighting breaks its austere character.

Cabinet

Moving further into the apartment, we come to the bright study, or workspace. Here, in turn, a combination of neutral white and black was used. In order to make this part of the apartment lighter, it was decided to demolish the wall. Its function is performed by a glass enclosure with a door. This managed to visually enlarge the space.

Bedroom

Green is the perfect color to use in areas intended for relaxation. For this reason, a dim bottle green was also smuggled into the bedroom. The centerpiece of the interior is a spacious bed. There is also plenty of storage space. Some of the walls are covered with gray concrete, consistent with the rest of the room.

Bathrooms

There are two bathrooms in the apartment: one with a bathtub and the other - with a shower. Both rooms are kept in a raw gray color scheme. The walls and floors are covered with tiles. In the bathroom with the bathtub, a reference to industrial design was smuggled in thanks to inox plastic cabinet fronts, which mimic metal. Not counting the bathtub, white ceramics were selected in both bathrooms.
