Stones like gold
Granites most often take on dark colors. The bigger sensation is Giallo New Veneziano - distinguished by its chic golden color (pictured at top). This unique stone blends well with both warm and cool colors. It harmonizes with both stylized arrangements (such as those in the spirit of art déco, mid-century modern or eclecticism) and those that refer to the latest trends.
Since the world of interior design has rediscovered gold and copper, we are also importing a supply of brand-new Normandy quartzite from Brazil. When one looks from a distance at the whole slab of this magnificent stone, one can see in it a resemblance to satellite images of this beautiful land of France. There is a wonderful interweaving of relatively fine threads of beige, brown, gold and copper. The whole resembles an intricate wallpaper or antique fabric with a rich pattern.
