New! MULTIMAX 30 PRO from ISOVER - mineral wool with the record lowest lambda thermal conductivity coefficient in Poland

20 of September '24

The lambda thermal conductivity coefficient is a key parameter that determines the effectiveness of the insulation material used. The lower its value, the more effectively the insulation protects the house from heat loss or heating, and this in turn affects the amount of bills for heating in winter and cooling in summer. With the aim of providing buildings with maximum energy efficiency and reducing operating costs, the ISOVER brand has created a product with a record-low thermal conductivity coefficient. Thanks to the work of specialists and the use of innovative technology, MULTIMAX 30 PRO mineral wool was created, which is distinguished by the lowest lambda in Poland, amounting to only 0.030 (W/mK).

New mineral wool with record low lambda coefficient

ISOVER, being a leader in the market for insulation materials, is constantly looking for innovative solutions to save even more energy, increase the comfort of building users and improve the environment. Which insulation is best can be debated for hours, but the key measure of the effectiveness of the insulation used is its thermal insulation performance, which is determined by the lambda coefficient.

Rising prices for electricity and raw materials used to heat homes, as well as stricter regulations on the energy efficiency of buildings, mean that more and more people are paying attention to maximum efficiency when choosing an insulation material. With a view to meeting the expectations of even the most demanding investors, a product has been developed that definitely stands out from the solutions available on the market. We are talking about the novelty of the ISOVER brand, MULTIMAX 30 PRO mineral wool, which has the lowest thermal conductivity coefficient in Poland λ = 0.030 (W/mK). With its record-low lambda, MULTIMAX 30 PRO guarantees the most effective insulation among mineral wools available in Poland. The new ISOVER wool effectively protects against heat loss in winter, and in summer prevents excessive heating of rooms. As a result, the investor can count on thermal comfort and significant savings on heating and air conditioning all year round," explains Marlena Madej, ISOVER brand expert.

Best thermal insulation for lower bills

MULTIMAX 30 PRO glass veil mat is the most energy-efficient mineral wool insulation material on the market - its thermal conductivity λ is just 0.030 (W/mK). The record-low lambda makes it possible to improve the thermal resistance of a partition by 10% compared to a material with a heat conductivity coefficient λ= 0.033 (W/mK) and of the same thickness, and by as much as 30% compared to the same thickness of insulation from a material with a thermal conductivity coefficient of λ = 0.039 (W/mK).To put it simply - the excellent thermal insulating power of the new wool means that with the same thickness of insulation we are able to keep the heat in the building more effectively and reduce its heating. Thus, we significantly reduce the building's energy requirements for heating it in winter and cooling it in summer, and this translates into significant savings in bills. This also means less demand for electricity and energy resources, so a benefit not only for our wallet, but also for the environment.

A system solution designed to protect the environment

The use of MULTIMAX 30 PRO with the lowest lambda on the market, in addition to reducing the operating costs of the building, also makes it possible to reduce the thickness of the insulation layer and gain additional space, which is particularly important especially in the case of attic insulation, where each additional centimeter makes the room more spacious. Compared to a material with a thermal conductivity coefficient λ = 0.033 (W/mK)], the use of the latest ISOVER wool allows to reduce the thickness of the insulation layer by 8.3%, and compared to a material with a thermal conductivity coefficient λ = 0.039 (W/mK) by as much as 18.5%. At the same time, it is worth noting that MULTIMAX 30 PRO wool remains complementary to all available drywall systems of the ISOVER and RIGIPS brands, including attic, partition wall and suspended ceiling systems, which facilitates the selection of appropriate products and increases the efficiency of construction work. During the production of MULTIMAX 30 PRO, the ISOVER brand, as befits a market leader, also took care of the issue of environmental protection. The product's packaging was created from film, 30% of which is PCR, a recycled material obtained by recycling plastics, mainly used packaging. The packaging itself is also only 15% printed, which reduces the use of printing inks and makes it easier to recycle the film later. In addition, up to 80% recycled glass is used in the production of the wool, and this also helps reduce waste and makes ISOVER brand wool even more eco-friendly.

One product, many benefits for investor and contractor

MULTIMAX 30 PRO mineral wool is ideal not only for thermal insulation, but also for acoustic insulation of pitched roofs, ceilings, floors between joists and frame structures. In addition to the best thermal parameters on the market, its excellent performance characteristics also deserve appreciation. The already mentioned innovative fiber production technology translates into a very compact structure of wool, which allows easy and precise cutting of the product and minimization of waste on the construction site, and makes the ISOVER solution hold very well between the rafters and does not require lacing. Tight filling of the insulated space, in turn, means higher energy efficiency of insulation and the possibility of reducing thermal bridges. It is also worth mentioning that MULTIMAX 30 PRO is a non-flammable product and its reaction to fire class is A1. The manufacturer also took care to protect the wool from damage to its surface and from speckling. For this purpose, the product has been covered on one side with glass veil, which not only facilitates installation work (including marking dimensions, cable penetrations and installations), but also provides high aesthetics of the insulated spaceand allows to create an even, uniform surface. Also worthy of praise is the practical label-handle, which makes it easier to bring the wool into the attic.
