K-Link technology from Franke is the smart zone for everyday cooking

21 of August '24

The modern kitchen is a space where functionality meets the daily needs of users. That's why Franke is introducing K-Link technology, which connects select induction cooktops to hoods. It allows two previously independent appliances to form an integrated system, providing greater control and cooking pleasure.

Technology for the times

Modern lifestyles mean that we spend an exceptionally large amount of time in the kitchen. It is the undisputed heart of the home and a multifunctional universe. Here we prepare meals, eat, work and receive guests. In response to this, Franke, with exceptional attention to the well-being of the household members, creates solutions that suit the way they use the kitchen. These include K-Link technology, which creates an integrated, wireless connection between the induction cooktop and the hood.

What does K-Link give you?

K-Link allows two appliances to communicate wirelessly and synchronize in real time.

- Thanks to Franke's technology, the cooktop can automatically adjust the intensity of the hood depending on the amount of steam generated during cooking. This solution not only facilitates the daily preparation of meals, but also contributes to optimizing energy consumption, reducing noise levels and the amount of vapor, which is particularly important in kitchens that are open to other rooms," comments Katarzyna Niezabitowska-Baj, PR&Event Manager of Franke Poland.

In this way, K-Link technology fits perfectly into the category of multifunctional and hybrid appliances that are currently conquering kitchens.
