Attention fresh graduates and design students! The Young Design competition aimed at discovering the most promising designers of the younger generation has been launched for the 13th time. You have until January 11, 2021 to apply. It is worth it, because there is as much as PLN 20 thousand to win!
Young Design is the first program in Poland organized by the Institute of Industrial Design, which aims to identify the most promising designers of the young generation - those who understand the market and will be able to work with industry in the future. The competition also enables young designers to establish business contacts to launch their careers in the design industry.
The main prize in the competition is the Prof. Wanda Telakowska scholarship in the amount of 20 thousand zlotys. And how to make an application? All you have to do is send three selected, best designs from your portfolio by January 11, 2021.
Thefinalists of the competition and their projects will be evaluated by a jury - the Scholarship Chapter, composed of representatives of business (manufacturers and distributors). The award will be given to the person who, in addition to good projects, will best demonstrate their skills and competencies needed to work with future employers.
All finalists will have the opportunity to benefit from a training course on public speaking, which will be conducted by Lauren Peso Poland, a partner of the Young Design 2020 competition. The honorary patron and sponsor of the main prize in the Young Design 2020 competition is the Minister of Culture and National Heritage, Prof. Piotr Glinski.
