Best Diploma Competition ARCHITECTURE 2025
Architecture students and graduates! We would like to invite you to participate in the 14th edition of the competition for the best diploma thesis (engineering and master's) defended in 2023-2025. In the competition we are looking for interesting themes, innovative solutions, ecological approaches and a new outlook on design. This year, the winner or first prize winner will win 4,000 zlotys and a one-month internship at the Medusa Group studio!
Since 2012, we have been presenting in the pages of A&B the most interesting thesis submitted by our Readers and Readers, from among which we select the authors of the best projects. The winner or winner receives a cash prize and, thanks to cooperation with respected architectural studios, the opportunity to complete a month-long professional internship. A few years ago, the series of the Best Diploma competition dedicated to architectural projects was expanded to include a new category - INTERIORIES.
We invite male and female graduates of Architecture faculties to participate in the 14th edition of the competition and submit their original works - diplomas from 2023-2025 . The best of the submitted diplomas will be published in the pages of our magazine or e-issue and portal, along with an original author's description. From this pool of works, the jury, which, in addition to the editors and editors of A&B, will include Przemo Lukasik of {tag:pracownie}, will select the winners, and the Readers in an online vote - the winner of the Audience Award. We publish the results of each edition of the competition presenting the most interesting works at the beginning of the next calendar year.
technical conditions
In order for your work to be published, submitted materials should include:
- author's description (about 4000 characters with spaces),
- general data (name of the university, name of the promoter, type and date of defense of the thesis) in a separate text file or in the author's description,
- visualizations and necessary technical drawings in a size that allows their publication, i.e., in a resolution of 300 dpi and a base of 20 cm for visualizations and photos (.jpg,.tif,.eps) and drawings in vector format (.eps,.ai,.pdf). It is permissible to provide the drawings rasterized in high resolution (300 dpi and 20 cm base - . jpg,.tif,.eps) after their prior cleaning from unnecessary auxiliary lines, anchors, etc.,
- contact information (phone number and e-mail address) in a separate text file or in the author's description,
- consent to the processing of personal data (template in PDF format downloadable at the top of the article).
Works that do not meet the above technical requirements (incomplete), will not be subject to further substantive evaluation.
