Results of voting for the Audience Award in the "Young Interior Designers" competition.

We have completed the online voting for the Audience Award - Best Interior Design Diploma, submitted to the "Young Interior Designers 2024" competition . The competition was organized by the Magdalena Abakanowicz University of Arts in Poznan.14 projects participated in the plebiscite and madeit to the finals of the competition. The largest number of votes (871) was received by the diploma work "Immune Space. Imaging Diagnostics Facility at 19 Kopernika Street in Krakow" by Katarzyna Orlowska from the Interior Design Department of the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow. Congratulations to the winner!

Seven Art Universities in Poland participated in the competition: Magdalena Abakanowicz University of Arts in Poznan, Academy of Art in Szczecin, Faculty of Interior Design and Scenography, Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk, Jan Matejko Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow, Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow. Jan Matejko in Cracow, the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, the Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw and the Academy of Fine Arts in Lodz.

The jury, consisting of: dr. hab. Anna Regimowicz-Korytowska- Chairperson , Dean of WAWiS, Dr. Emilia Cieśla-Jarzębowska-Deanof WAWiS,Tomasz Desko-Representative of Grupa Mo, Justyna Zajc-Representative of Zajc kuchnie, Konrad Młynarski-Representative of I-mar and prof. Eugeniusz Matejko awarded three prizes and one honorable mention. You can learn the results of the competition on our portal.

In December 2024 and January 2025, Architecture & Business gave a vote to its male and female readers, announcing a contest for the Audience Award. Male and female Internet users were able to vote for their favorite graduation project, out of 14 works admitted to the finals.

The winner was - Katarzyna Orłowska

for her thesis "Immune Space. Imaging Diagnostic Facility at 19 Kopernika Street in Krakow", made under the direction of Professor Beata Gibała-Kapecka at the Faculty of Interior Designof the Academyof Fine Arts in Krakow. The project received 871 votes. The author will receive a diploma and a one-year subscription to the monthly magazine "A&B".

Second place - Agata Werochowska

for the diploma project "The value of a minute. Architecture of care and identity. Revitalization of a complex of buildings of a water mill and a manor house for a nursing home in the village of Motyl," made under the direction of Professor Anna Wejkowska-Lipska at the Faculty of Interior Design of the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk. The project won 752 votes.

Third place - Karolina Zygmunt

for "Interior architecture design of selected spaces in a newly emerging hospital facility - Lower Silesian Oncology Center", made under the direction of Prof. Jacek Krzysztof Żurek at the Faculty of Interior Design, Design and Scenography, Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław. The project received 450 votes.

The authors of the works that won second and third place will receive a diploma and a six-month subscription to the monthly magazine "A&B".
