Applications for the Architecture BUDMA Award competition can be submitted until January 9. The aim of the competition is to distinguish buildings, public spaces, small architecture objects and elements integrally related to the architectural form of design, which stand out in terms of aesthetics, workmanship, functionality and influence on the overall surrounding space. The competition is organized by the Poznań International Fair and the Chamber of Architects.
Objects can be submitted by their authors - Polish and foreign architects implementing their projects in Poland, as well as by architectural firms, organizations of architects, manufacturers of building and finishing materials, companies implementing and executing investments, investors, users of buildings, and public and local administration bodies.
Last year, the Architecture BUDMA Award went to the K. Kieslowski Radio and Television Department at the University of Silesia in Katowice, a project by architects Grupa 5 Architekci, Małeccy Biuro Projektowe and BAAS Arquitectura.
Objects completed between January 1, 2017 and December 31,2019 can be submitted to the competition. The announcement of the results and the award ceremony will take place on February 4, 2020 during BUDMA.
