Do you have an idea for the design of an urban safe leisure zone? Take part in the CITYandREST competition! Polbruk is inviting young architects, landscape architects, designers and students of architecture and landscape architecture to participate in a competition to design a safe public space fit for the current times.
Recent months have shown that at a time when travel and movement have been significantly reduced, urban space should partly take over the leisure function, and create safe living and leisure conditions.
The competition's CITYandREST project is intended to be a way to provide safe leisure zones in cities and a remedy for the need to reduce social contact and keep people at an appropriate distance from each other.
Submitted concepts should allow a group of people to stay together safely in a public space, while providing physical distance and breaking down social distance. It can be a conceptual design of a street, square, park, boulevard, etc., the design intervention can be the reconstruction of an existing urban space or the creation of a completely new one. The prepared project should include Polbruk products indicated in the competition regulations. Projects can be submitted individually or in teams of two.

prizes
The winners will receive cash prizes: PLN 10,000 for the winner of the 1st prize, PLN 7,000 for the winner of the 2nd prize, PLN 4,000 for the 3rd prize and PLN 1,000 for the authors of the awarded projects.
