Despite the tarnishing of the subject of war across our eastern border, resulting in a distorted picture of this conflict and the invasion of "Russian trolls," aid to Ukraine is still important. This is just the beginning of the activities that the Faculty of Architecture of the Warsaw University of Technology has started.

The CharityFoundation, in cooperation with the Faculty of Architecture at the Warsaw University of Technology and the St. Martin de Porres Center in Fastov, Ukraine, has launched an auction where you can bid on and buy works by Warsaw architects. What will the money from the collection be donated to?
We will use the money from the Auction to purchase roofing, repair and construction supplies, tools, home furnishings and equipment for housing containers. In this way, we support the elderly, single people and families with many children who have lost their homes as a result of Russian aggression - Anna Stadnicka of the Charity Foundation.
involvement from the university side.
The initiators of the auction are Professor Konrad Kucza-Kuczynski and Dr. Alexander Chylak. The auction is to be the beginning of activities initiated by the Faculty of Architecture of the Warsaw University of Technology. The next auction is scheduled to take place in October.
In view of the destruction carried by the war, the Warsaw architectural community wants to help the most disadvantaged people who were made homeless by the war. The Auction itself, in turn, is dedicated to all those interested in classical drawing, painting, graphics and photography with an architectural theme, emphasizes Professor Miroslaw Orzechowski, a lecturer at the Faculty of Architecture at the Warsaw University of Technology, whose works will also be put up for sale, "When the initial enthusiasm subsides, this is the right time to take permanent and lasting action to support the needs of Ukrainian citizens," he adds.
what does the auction look like?
The auction is held remotely and anyone can participate. The last date to bid on artworks for this worthy cause will be June 29, 2022. The next opportunity is not until October.
We would also like to remind you about the Designers_ci for Ukraine campaign organized by NIAIU(see here) and the verified list of collections with Ukraine(see here). Despite the "aid fatigue" phenomenon, it's still important to support Ukrainians on their soil first and foremost, whether it's humanitarian, know-how or military aid.
