About the fact that pull-out shelves and baskets really facilitate the use of lower corner cabinets, no one needs to be convinced anymore. Thanks to them, we not only make optimal use of the space of this furniture, but also improve our access to the things stored in them. The question is, what systems do we have to choose from and which corners will work well in specific cabinets?

Lower corner cabinets appear in almost every kitchen. It is impossible to avoid them in L-, U- or G-shaped built-ins. Sometimes there are even several of them. They can have different dimensions and different forms. In general, they can be divided into two types.
The straight ones are rectangular in shape. The diagonal ones come in the shape of a square with a truncated corner or the letter L. They have two corner sides of the same length (usually 90 cm). Sometimes they are mounted with two separate fronts. And sometimes one connected by appropriate hinges.
But regardless of the form, corner cabinets are always very packed and difficult to access. That's why it's common to install corners, or pull-out systems that make it easier to access stored products, such as supplies or pots. There are several options to choose from.
Corners in the shape of pull-out shelves
Corner Optima by REJS, a system consisting of two movable shelves, is a solution designed for rectangular-shaped cabinets. It is mounted to the side of the cabinet. The shelves are properly shaped and slide out independently of each other. They are surrounded by a low rail, which protects products from slipping and falling. Importantly, the corresponding heavy-duty guides allow each shelf to carry a load of up to 15 kg.

Corners in the form of pull-out baskets
What about diagonal corner cabinets? For them, consider REJS' Corner Front and Corner Comfort systems. Both mechanisms are two two-tier baskets proposed for cabinets with dimensions: 800, 1000 and 1200 mm (Corner Comfort) and 900 mm (Corner Front). Both providea high maximum load (at the level of 25 kg) which makes it possible to store even heavy supplies in them.

They come in several variants - with openwork or solid bottoms: made of plastic or furniture board (white and black). In addition, Corner Comfort from the Maxima PURO line is available in white with glass inserts and black with oak veneer inserts.
What makes them different? Corner Front is attached to the cabinet door. It allows you to completely slide one of the two two-level baskets out of the cabinet. The other, meanwhile, slides from the depths of the cabinet toward the front. Corner Comfort, on the other hand, is attached to the cabinet. In its case, both baskets can be slid outside the cabinet.

Corners in the shape of rotating shelves
Another option that can be used in corner cabinets on a square plan are rotating shelves. They are mounted on a centrally located rod. Shelves are available in several shapes. Depending on the type of cabinet and our preferences, it can be full circle, ¾ circle and half circle. Each option can have a bottom made of wire or furniture board in white or black. And they are available in several sizes - depending on the shape, among others, 600, 690, 750, 820 cm, which allows you to match them to the size of the cabinet.
