On December 20, we announced the results of the competition for the design of a canopy for the Amphitheater at the Royal Lazienki Park in Warsaw, organized by the Royal Lazienki Museum and the General Board of the Association of Polish Architects.
The competition task was to create a conceptual study design for the roofing of the auditorium and stage of the historic amphitheater located on the grounds of the Royal Lazienki Park in Warsaw. The design was to include two independent, seasonal or temporary covers for the stage and auditorium separated by water, in a lightweight and demountable structure.
In the two-stage, study competition for the conceptual design of a canopy for the Amphitheater at the Royal Lazienki Park in Warsaw, the jury chaired by Mariusz Scisło decided not to award the first prize. The second prize was awarded to the Warsaw DiM'84 Dom i Miasto studio, composed of the author ' s team - Czesław Bielecki, Piotr Kołakowski, Barbara Pietrasik, construction - Stanisław Wierzbicki, Marcin Karczmarczyk, Zbigniew Czajewski, execution and assembly technology - Małgorzata Koniewicz, Ryszard Koniewicz, visualizations - Piotr Pietruczak, and honorable mention - BP Projekt Kazimierz Butelski from Cracow.
