Small spaces, whether we want them or not, are becoming the norm of modern metropolises. The small size of apartments requires intensive thought, proper organization and the introduction of solutions that will save problems. This is what designers from mast.studio were looking for.

South vibe is a design for the arrangement of two private rooms in a small apartment - an enclosed kitchen and bathroom. Both spaces are small, but they had to meet all functional and aesthetic conditions. The kitchen had to be practical and roomy, the toilet well arranged. How did the designers cope with this set of tasks?
Kitchen full of color
The kitchen space is dominated by simple built-ins on three sides. Pure white in a simple, minimalist form reigns here at first glance. All fronts are devoid of handles, additional milling and unnecessary additions. Countertops are gently dark wood, also kept in the simplest, minimalist form.

An interesting solution turns out to be the space between the built-ins. Here it was decided to use rectangular glazed tiles arranged in a geometric manner. The bricks are kept in dark green, almost bottle green. Opposite the kitchen cabinet was decided on a wallpaper with a leaf motif, next to which a real flower with similar foliage was placed.

everything in its place
The area of the bathroom is very small - it is only 3.2 m2. Is it possible to create a space for comfortable use in such conditions? Certainly.
Designers from mast.studio decided to separate the space for the shower, where a gentle slope was installed instead of a full-sized shower tray. It's a section separated by a transparent pane of glass. Next to it there is a built-in cabinet, a toilet and a washing machine.

The color scheme of the bathroom is similar to the one we know from the realization of the kitchen. Here the white color was used again, which was broken with a colorful pattern. In this case, it's tiles with colorful geometric-plant motifs. Here you can mainly see delicate gray blues, yellows and greens. On the floor, a herringbone pattern familiar from the kitchen is visible, in a similar light green color tone.

South Vibe by cities.studio is an example of showing how small interiors can be arranged to be both functional and aesthetically pleasing. Without losing to one or the other feature.
