Heat pumps are devices that extract thermal energy from the surrounding nature and transfer it to the building's heating system, while "converting" it to a higher energy level. This means that the thermal energy of nature is extracted at a low temperature of the medium, e.g. ground, air, and transferred to the heating system of the building.
Buderus offers a whole range of both air and ground source heat pumps. It is worth entrusting the selection of the device to professionals.

New generation of air-to-water heat pumps Logatherm WLW186i AR and WLW176i AR
Noteworthy is the new generation of Logatherm WLW186i AR and WLW176i AR air-to-water heat pumps.
These units are the quietest heat pumps in the Buderus range. Both monoblock heat pumps operate with a modern and efficient refrigeration circuit based on R290 (propane) refrigerant. Both heat pump models are available in a power range from 4 to 12 kW (at an outdoor temperature of A-7) and are suitable for new and existing homes. The indoor units are available in two versions: black glass (Logatherm WLW186i AR) and white metal (Logatherm WLW176i AR). A graphic, color touchscreen display provides intuitive and easy operation. The dimensions allow the unit to be placed, for example, in a built-in kitchen. The design is robust and durable, resistant to weather conditions. Titanium Design also means easy installation and service and both types can be controlled via the MyBuderus app or monitored via the MX300 wireless internet module.

Of particular note is the Silent + (S+) technology. S+ makes it possible to dramatically reduce sound emissions from a unit set up outside the building. To achieve this, a number of innovative solutions have been introduced.
Here are some of them:
- built-in sound diffuser at the fan,
- a fan with stabilized blades,
- refrigeration system enclosed in a separate sound-absorbing chamber,
- sound reduction by selecting Silent mode.
As a result, the unit can operate even in dense housing, while being sure not to disturb both users and neighbors. In addition, the height of the heat pump has been adjusted so that the unit can fit behind a window without obstructing it.

Buderus heat pumps can work with integrated energy management - MyEnergyMaster. The use of electricity, generated by a photovoltaic system, can be significantly increased by intelligently networking a photovoltaic system and a Buderus heat pump using the MyEnergyMaster application. For effective operation of such a system, dedicated components are needed: Power Sensor, Power Meter or smart receivers. The system built on their basis manages the flow of electricity in the installation of a single-family building. Electricity from the output of the photovoltaic system is used to power the heating system, energy storage, buffer tank and hot water cylinder. Consequently, much less energy is drawn from the grid, which means lower bills.
