International award for Polish studio

The International Property Awards is an international competition with a history of more than 30 years. In it, the jury recognizes the best projects of the real estate industry around the world. This year the award in the Residental Interior Apartment category went to the project "Apartment with Volcanic Energy" by the Polish studio Deer Design. In order to receive this award, architects must excel in creativity, excellence in the selection of materials and attention to details that create a harmonious living space.

Fiery character

The award-winning project was created for a private investor and was implemented in Warsaw. The interior of the 130-square-meter apartment is dominated by dark colors inspired by... a volcano. However, the interior is exceptionally warm and aesthetically refined. The apartment features a living room with a library area and a kitchenette, a study that also serves as a guest room, a bedroom, a large bathroom, a small guest toilet, as well as a dressing room and a laundry room.

- The strengths of this project are team play and attentive, listening to each other. We are all the more pleased to have received the prestigious IPA award, because it shows that success consists not only of the idea, the choice of exceptional materials or the realization - good relationships also count here," Julita Bojańczyk emphasizes.

Classic black

The inspiration of the volcano is best seen in the bedroom. Dark colors dominate here, among others in the form of a large closet in the shade of deep black. The fronts of the furniture are decorated with subtle vertical grooves and gold handles, which add elegance. Next to the bed, with a burgundy-colored headrest, we see lamps and details referring to natural minerals, which introduces a calm, sophisticated atmosphere.

Gentle shapes

The living room stands out from the rest of the interior thanks to the harmony of light, neutral colors and soft lines. Such a combination creates a cozy atmosphere. Furniture with rounded shapes blends perfectly with modern ceiling lamps and large windows, which provide access to natural light. The space is enriched by floral decorations and minimalist accessories.

Modernity and nature

The kitchen combines subdued colors with natural materials. It is dominated by dark wood, which exudes elegance and functionality. The central point of the room is an island with a bar. Comfortable chairs with soft, rounded backs were placed by it. Above the island hangs a designer lamp with a minimalist shape, which gives the interior a modern touch.

The main theme? The cabinetry!

An extremely important part of the project is the numerous functional furniture built-ins made by the Deer Wood carpentry studio. The built-ins here serve many functions, from decorative framing of window glyphs and wall paneling, to storage of books or clothes, to organization of work in the kitchen.
