Barbara Steciak architect from the VIVA DESIGN studio points out 8 trends that will soon be in our homes.

Selected trends especially for you

The multitude of trends and their rapid changes can overwhelm. So it is worth choosing among them the universal ones that meet our needs.

- We took a look at what foreign designers have to offer, what needs we face and how they can be addressed. I am not a fan of blindly following trends. So I chose those that I myself am 100% sure are worth being inspired by. The designs I propose to my clients are meant to be timeless," says Barbara Steciak.

Regenerative design

The more nature, the better. Whether it's individual potted plants or a large conservatory. Your interior must include greenery. Also choose natural finishing materials such as wood and stone. The goal is not only to create nature-inspired spaces that enhance our well-being, but also to use eco-friendly solutions that support and harmonize with the environment.

Decorative ceiling

We treatthe ceiling as the fifth wall. So we reject traditional white in favor of more creative solutions. Vibrant colors, bold patterns and interesting textures catch the eye and can make the ceiling the focal point of an arrangement. This trend can already be seen in public spaces.

An even smarter home

Advanced technologies are the future, including in interior design. Thanks to systems based on artificial intelligence, we will be able to use, personalized tools to manage not only our home, but also our garage or garden. Innovative voice-controlled devices and interactive applications will significantly increase the comfort of everyday life.

Multifunctional space

Most of us have limited space at our disposal. To make the most of it, we will increasingly opt for multifunctional furniture that can be freely adapted. Modular sofas and folding tables can be easily rearranged and arranged according to the situation. These designs respond to the changing needs of modern life by maximizing functionality.

Interior - an oasis of calm

Living in a constant rush, we increasingly appreciate places where we can relax. Personalized places for yoga, exercise and meditation will appear in interiors. Temperature regulation, subdued colors, adequate ventilation and soft lighting are solutions that promote relaxation and regeneration. It is worth betting on them when arranging an apartment in a big city.

Varied textures

Layering, mixing and combining different materials makes the arrangement affect many senses at once. It also adds depth and character to interiors. Juxtapositions of delicate velvet with natural stone and warm wood will be increasingly seen in our homes.

Unique craftsmanship

We are returning to traditional craftsmanship and handicraft. Sturdy wooden furniture will last for years, while wool bedspreads, woven rugs and lace doilies will complete the look. Handmade items build the history of the interior and allow us to express our individualism. We recommend going to an antique market to look for interior gems. It's also a trend to support local artisans and sustainable practices, with less impact on the progressive changes in the environment.

Warmed-up minimalism

We continue to put quality over quantity. However, this doesn't mean that the arrangements are to be boring. We will combine delicate lines with natural textures and muted colors in earth tones. This will make the interiors even more cozy.
