Modern lighting systems are not only a strictly functional solution. The fixtures, strips and tapes available today are not only to illuminate, but also to decorate furniture and interiors. Emphasize what is most beautiful in them. By themselves attract the eye and attention. What options do we have today to choose from? It turns out that there are plenty of them!
It can expose what is best and most beautiful in our homes, and hide what should remain in the shadows. We pay attention to it only when it gets dark, and yet also during the day it has great power... Light, as it is referred to, is an invaluable decorative tool that has been rapidly gaining importance recently.
Eagerly used by designers, it is also available in an ever wider and richer palette. All this, of course, to achieve an even better aesthetic effect. What kind of lighting is worth paying attention to? Here are some proposals from REJS, which has just expanded its offer with a rich palette of lighting systems.
LED strips
They can be installed both in wall and ceiling cladding, as well as in built-ins and stand-alone furniture. They are useful, for example, to illuminate the kitchen wor ktop - they are then mounted under the upper cabinets, or to more delicately highlight pedestals and wreaths. They look great in open bookcases, bookcases, as well as in glass display cases, where they help expose glass or porcelain.

Tapes can be used in virtually every room of the house. And in each they can look great, fulfilling a purely utilitarian function or creating an appropriate atmosphere. The four types of LED strips available in the REJS offer, depending on your needs, can emit bright or mood dimmed, warm, neutral and cold light. We offer the tapes in a basic length of 5 meters, and the 2835 variant - also 50 meters. Thanks to this, creating even bold, large-scale light installations is not a problem," explains Joanna Posadzy, REJS Marketing Director.
LED strips are complemented by easy-to-install power supplies. They are offered in two versions. MASTER power supplies are available in 8 variants (7, 12, 16, 24, 33, 54, 65, 80 W). The socket power supply, on the other hand, only comes in a 6 W version. All of them are powered from standard 230V mains.
Switches
Another, yet also indispensable, component of lighting systems are switches. Those offered today by REJS are nothing like a traditional wall-mounted switch. They allow not only to turn the light on and off, but also to regulate its intensity (the so-called dimmer function). They can be mounted in various parts of the building, and selected models - also elegantly hidden, for example, under the countertop, behind the front or under the plate (W10), and even inside the profile (W09).

There is a choice of models operated by remote control (e.g. W08), touch and non-contact (W05) - responding, for example, to the approach of a hand. The latter will also work well in pantries and dressing rooms. One of the variants - W05 turns on the light when the door or the front of the furniture is opened. Supplies and clothes will be visible regardless of the time of day, whenever we need them.

An invisible, but no less important accessory
When building a portfolio of lighting offerings, we tried to make it as comprehensive as possible. That is why it also includes a range of everyday invisible, but indispensable accessories,"adds Joanna Posadzy.
What solutions are we talking about? First of all, small connectors for LED strips, which allow them to be combined into long light chains. They are available without a wire (for rigid connection) or with a 2m wire. In addition to them, contractors will find profiles and fixtures in different color temperatures, distributors, cables and extensions. Worth noting are metal clips for glass shelves. Fastened to the side edge of the sheet, they emit light that seems to spill into the glass, giving a beautiful decorative effect.
