Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz - sociologist and political scientist, in 1999 she defended her doctoral thesis at the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology of the Polish Academy of Sciences, on the political activity of Poles in the first 6 years after the system transformation. For many years associated with the Center for Eastern Studies, in 2012 she was appointed Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and between 2014 and 2016 she was Poland's ambassador to the Russian Federation. Since December 13, 2023, she has been Minister of Funds and Regional Policy.
