The value of the parameter is calculated on the basis of solar reflectance (SR) and thermal emissivity, so it is a measure of the relative heating of materials such as roofing, facade surfaces or pavements, taking into account the absorption of solar rays and the emission of heat into the atmosphere. The higher the SRI value, the lower the absorption of heat emitted by the sun. Getting down to specifics - the SRI for Formula 7430 is 86.0, while for Formula 7431 it is 73.1. The use of selected facade panels from PROBET-DASAG on the facade of a building is therefore able to realistically reduce the demand for cooling the building during the summer months. This translates into lower electricity bills (reducing air-conditioning operation), as well as lower energy demand, which ultimately reducesCO2 emissions into the atmosphere.
