On July 14, 2022, the premiere of Cosentino's large-format Dekton Onirika surfaces, Dream of ART, took place at Warsaw's Koneser Center, in the unique exhibition space of the Sculpture Laboratory. The phenomenal setting of the event referred to the name of the collection, and the latest offerings of ultra-compact sinters were shown in a convention where the real world intermingled with fantasy. This atmosphere was perfectly matched by the invited guests, including esteemed designers and architects, Cosentino partners and media representatives.

A dream in the open
Dekton's latest designs were combined that day with the art of prominent Polish sculptors, daring guests to transcend the present and move toward their dreams, looking at the oneiric set design played out on different planes by Anna Olga Chmielewska and Jola Skóra of JAM Kolektyw, inspired by the GOOD/NIGHT exhibition from this year's Lodz Design Festival. This artistic arrangement is an integral part of the Sculpture Laboratory and will be on display along with sculptures by some of Poland's most prominent artists until September 6 at the Koneser Praga Center.

During the event, guests were captivated by the multilayered compositions made up of interpenetrating forms of Onirik's collection and symbols, referring to the space between waking and dreaming. At the entrance, they were greeted by a composition of large-format paintings, made of Silestone and Dekton materials. This is a new incarnation of the brilliant Cosentino stand designed by Szymon Hanczar and presented during Warsaw Home 2021, and at the same time proves that trade fair stands do not have to be disposable. The second life of the booth was already presented during LDF 2022, and the creative concept was appreciated again at Salone Del Mobile 2022.

Dr. Joanna Jurga - who designs spaces for living in isolation, creates design solutions for overstimulated users, and studies human senses - told the audience about the meaning of sleep as a symbol of Cosentino's latest sinter proposals. She was followed on stage by multi-instrumentalist Grzech Piotrowski, along with accompanying musicians Piotr Matusik and Krzysztof Gradziuk, who took guests on a musical journey, full of space, subtle emotions and magic.
Oniric collection
Onirika's marble-inspired Dekton sintered series, presented at the premiere in the form of pedestals of works by top Polish sculptors, includes as many as eight bold colors: Awake, Lucid, Somnia, Neural, Trance, Vigil, Daze and Morpheus, which represent Cosentino's values of sustainability, forward-thinking innovation and timeless elegance. The collection, designed by renowned designer Nina Magon, reinterprets classic marble patterns, showing them in an unprecedented natural setting.

The Neural shade combines elegance and texture, bringing tranquility and a sense of well-being to the interior space. With delicate, pale veins crisscrossing the marble pattern - it creates a fascinating neural network that teleports us to the world of dreamy dreams. It will be perfect in bright, neutral spaces with soft textures.

Lucid has a lot of reflections and flashes of color, looking good in combination with wood, shades of gray and gold, and frosted glass. Morpheus is the name of the same Lucid tone, but in a Velvet finish.
Ambiences Onirika Trance

Trance is a reinterpretation of the precious Paonazzo stone. It features dense veins of light grays, exquisite oxide terracotta and subtle ink blue tones. In interiors it will combine beautifully with white, neutral tones, light wood and gold.

Awake features warm, delicate streaks that fade to a reddish gold, blending perfectly with oak wood and darker walnut tones.

The Somnia shade captivates with details of warm oxidized browns and whites, which merge under a grid of lines that create a very original texture. Somnia is ideal for warm dark woods, frosted glass and textured metal surfaces, such as copper, for example.

Vigil reproduces the strong texture of Calacatta marble, with thick veining in a gradient of light and dark grays, matched with a subtle note of gold. It's a classic color that easily blends with warm and cold tones, wood, metal and industrial concrete. Daze, is the name of the same Vigil tone, but in a Velvet texture finish.
Cosentino's latest offering combines the poetic and unique beauty of stone, just like the dreamlike atmosphere, full of images, sounds and emotions that accompanied guests at the collection launch. All this to wake up sleepy in the morning, welcoming the day in the safe space of one's own home, designed to bring peace and good energy to its inhabitants.
