The competition organized as part of the 4th International Biennale of Photography has launched. This year's edition, called Definition of Space 2020, refers to the idea and tradition of landscape photography of the Kielce School of Landscape, but taking into account the rapidity of changes in the modern world - broadens the thematic scope of works to include spaces in which modern man functions - industrial, urban and private.
The goal of the organizers is to integrate photographers who attempt to creatively define space in their work, and to broadly present their works in a post-competition exhibition and accompanying publication.
As the organizers from the Art Exhibition Office in Kielce say :
In the area of the decidedly photographic nature of the Biennale, we have also created a category of video art - for those who express themselves more fully through moving images. Our goal is to jointly create a panorama of intermingled landscapes of nature and culture, defining the space of our contemporary reality [...].
Works can be submitted in two categories:
- photography (maximum 4 photos),
- video art (maximum of 4 films - duration of the film up to 3 minutes).
