Cyber Wianki in Krakow
"You would like to have fun when you are enjoying the world. Man himself does not know how to spend his free time." - sang Andrzej Zaucha with his band Jamble in 1969. The question is perpetually relevant, especially in 2020. This year's Cyber Wreaths hasten to help, suggesting ideas on how to spend a few June days free from the cyberspace pandemic. It is the songs of Andrzej Zaucha that will resound in the arrangements of the Malopolska Big Band during the Zaucha is good for everything concert. On June 21, singers and vocalists associated with Krakow and beyond will sing at ICE Krakow.
The concert weekend of June 20 and 21 will be complemented by a special Cyber Wreaths - A Celebration of Music: Krakow Garages in the Uliczne Granie series, which was created in cooperation with the Krakow Music Scene (organizer of the Tak Brzmi Miasto festival). On the other hand, on June 21, the Streets Playing series will feature a streaming of Krakow Dachowanie. Thanks to the streaming of concerts, the work of local artists resounding in Krakow's pubs, parks, squares and unobvious spots will also fill our homes.
To make tradition come true, the Cyber Wreaths will also include the traditional competition for the most beautiful garland, which will close this year's edition of the Music Festival. However, before the participants compete, they will be able to take part in workshops on garland weaving in the form of a webinar organized in cooperation with Iwona Sulik.
