We encourage you to participate in the competition to develop a concept for the arrangement of the permanent exhibition of the future Princes Lubomirski Museum in Wroclaw. The competition is organized by the Ossoline National Institute and the Art Transparent Foundation.
The new headquarters of the Ossoline Museum of the Lubomirski Princes, as designed by architects from the WXCA studio, will stand between Fredry Street, Szewska Street and University Square. The aim of the competition is to select the most interesting scenographic concept for the permanent exhibition, which will be realized on the second floor of the new building.
The competition for the concept of the arrangement of the main exhibition is the next stage of preparations for the opening of the museum. Through the competition, the Ossolineum intends to select designers with whom it will work on the final exhibition concept.
Therefore, to participate in the competition we invite individuals and companies that will document the execution of a concept for the arrangement of an exhibition using art objects, including historical objects, made available to visitors in the last 10 years before the deadline for submission of works," says Michał Bieniek of the Art Transparent Foundation, which is coordinating the organization of the competition on behalf of the Ossolineum.
The museum's permanent exhibition will consist of a lobby, a main gallery, a cabinet of works on paper and a vault with an antechamber. The lobby is planned to showcase Janusz Witwicki's Visual Panorama of Old Lviv.
