BOHEMA - Praga Zone is a well-thought-out urban concept, developed in Warsaw's Praga Północ district by OKAM Capital, in which residential, retail, office and cultural functions intermingle. The project combines historic buildings of former factories with new buildings with modern architecture, referring to historical buildings. The underground parking lot of the "C" stage, which includes four residential buildings, features Deckshield resin flooring by {tag:Manufacturer}, a leading expert in the field.

OKAM Capital's prestigious project, BOHEMA - Strefa Praga, is being developed in the area of Szwedzka and Strzelecka streets in Warsaw, with direct access to a subway station. The project's strength is its multifunctional space, creating a new quality of life, as well as a rich offer of common outdoor areas that make this place vibrant.

The project is being implemented in stages. The first phase, which included three residential buildings, was a great success. The next, recently completed stage "C" includes four intimate buildings offering a total of 270 attractive apartments with functional layouts and areas ranging from 30 to 110 m². They are distinguished by modern architecture referring to historical buildings - brick and steel elements were used on the facades. In the parking lot of this phase, waterproof and flexible polyurethane-quartz Deckshield resin flooring by Flowcrete was installed on a total area of more than 6,000 m².

Resin floors in Mid Grey with yellow horizontal markings were used on both the walkways and parking spaces. This juxtaposition of contrasting colors is highly visible from the drivers' point of view, thus enhancing safety for all traffic participants.

Resin flooring in parking lots is a solution we have proven in many projects. We were persuaded to use the Deckshield system at BOHEMA - Strefa Praga by its functionality and good technical parameters in terms of resistance to daily use loads. Also important for us was the ease of keeping the floors clean and their aesthetic appearance in the long term.

Deckshield parking lot floors are created using solvent-free polyurethane resins and quartz sand. These waterproof and flexible coatings protect the concrete substrate from damage under the influence of various external factors, such as vehicle traffic. They are durable and mechanically strong, and at the same time show good resistance to chemicals found in garages and parking lots, i.e. fuels, battery acid, car operating fluids, de-icing salt residues brought in on tires and car chassis, among others.

Deckshield flooring systems have an anti-slip surface that is adapted to the conditions of use, thus preventing slips and falls on wet pavement. In addition, they dampen sounds and reduce the squeal of vehicle tires, which is particularly important in multi-family residential buildings, where the comfort of users is of paramount importance.
