Invest Komfort's unique "Story of a Home" project

"The Story of Home" is a project celebrating architecture, inspiring spaces and stories about home. Invest Komfort invited artists such as filmmaker Agnieszka Holland, traveler Marcin Kydrynski, photographer Jacek Poremba, art curator Anda Rottenberg and architect Professor Ewa Kurylowicz to share their experiences about home. The album "The Story of Home" tells about passion, human stories and the relationship between man and matter, culture and art.

Home. The shortest word having so many shades and meanings. For me, it is first and foremost about emotions, and only then about space, which I fully realized very early on," says architect and Invest Komfort Vice President Michal Ciomek in the foreword.

The creators of the publication celebrate the intimate prose of everyday life. What is home?

For me, home is so important that I actually arrange it for myself wherever I find myself. When I'm shooting a film in a foreign city or country, I try not to live in a hotel room, but ask to be rented an apartment or a house. And I immediately do my best to tame the place so that I feel at home there. So in a sense I carry this house of mine like a snail," says Agnieszka Holland.

The album is also a valuable knowledge base about Invest Komfort's architecture. Informative texts, full of curiosities and anecdotes, treat about icons of design, a sensual approach to architecture, or urban thinkers and their ideas. Some of them describe the building in even ontological terms, while others treat it as an interaction with art, finding beauty in its relationship with the world. Dialogue with the landscape and the environment is, after all, the essence of good design. The stories told in the book "The Story of a House" speak of contact with nature through thoughtful space planning and the creation of communities through which a building becomes a home and neighborhoods become communities. The album is also a tribute to the beauty of the details that make projects shine - fine wood, timeless stone, carefully selected artwork for interiors, handmade ceramics.

The premiere of the album took place in a unique and elegant place - Zachęta Gallery, and the developer Invest Komfort, which not for the first time surprises with unprecedented actions, distinguishing itself from the competition, is responsible for its implementation. The company, which thanks to 48 built investments, is transforming the landscape of Tri-City with such projects as Botanica Jelitkowo, inspired by the concept of garden cities, bathed in greenery, elegant New Kolibki estate, Nadmorski Dwór estate designed with the senses in mind, or Opacka estate, intriguing with contemporary forms and enjoying the attention to craftsmanship details.

We search for the best Tricity locations, giving peace and tranquility or having a huge city-forming potential, which we launch with our investments," Michal Ciomek mentions. - We are eager to fit into historical or environmental surroundings. We are well aware that this will help the future residents of our homes put down roots in the place they have consciously chosen," adds the vice president of Invest Komfort.

The "Story of a House" project will find its expansion on other levels, including on the opowiescodomu.pl website, or in social media, where users will be able to share their own stories.
