Woltair, one of the largest Czech companies in the heat pump and photovoltaic market, also present in Poland, is opening a branch of its Academy in our country. Its goal will be to educate and train more installers in heat pumps and photovoltaics. During a media briefing, Woltair also presented its proprietary heat pump, REWOLO, which will be available to Polish customers starting in October.
The Woltair Academy is a project that the company successfully inaugurated two years ago in the Czech Republic. It is intended to respond to the challenge of the shortage of qualified green energy installation teams. In Poland alone, it is estimated that the market lacks tens of thousands of such specialists.
Training with experts on a wide portfolio of products
The academy is designed to train and certify new technicians, which will simultaneously develop a network of partners. The courses are designed for specialists in the areas of heating and cooling, electricians, plumbers or service technicians, among others. The academy also provides an opportunity for those operating in the broader construction sector to re-brand themselves.
Classes at the Academy are taught by top specialists, both those at Woltair and external experts working in the RES industry. A key advantage of the Woltair Academy is that students can learn about a wide range of heat pumps and photovoltaics, from the world's biggest brands. Woltair already offers its customers 12 brands of heat pumps, of which six are available in the Polish showroom - Alpha Innotec, Dimplex, LG, Panasonic, Viessmann and REWOLO. The showroom also features numerous photovoltaic components, including Pylontech energy storage, GoodWe inverters, FoxESS on-grid inverters and Trina and Jinko Solar photovoltaic modules.

The Woltair Academy had its beginning in the Czech Republic, and two years after its launch we are very satisfied with the results. We believe that it will be similar in Poland, especially since the demand for qualified installers in this market is still very high. The academy will also ultimately expand our network of partners - specialists who help us install and service heat pumps and photovoltaics. Our project will ensure that our partners acquire not only the necessary theory, but also practical skills that they can test on equipment from leading brands in one place," says Michal Borek, Country Manager of Woltair Poland.
We are happy to cooperate with Woltair and participate in the opening of the Academy. We have been operating on the Polish market since 2006 and have learned in that time that the best product, in order to function well, requires professional installation and a qualified installer. Training for installers, partnership and end-customer orientation are key elements for us on the way to further development of the heat pump industry in Poland," adds Tomasz Dobryniewski, Daikin Managing Director.
The Woltair Academy will also train photovoltaic installers, as there is an ongoing shortage of qualified installers in this sector.

We consider photovoltaic installation today in terms of not nice to have but must have. It only remains to answer the question, how to choose such an installation correctly? Therefore, it is extremely important to cooperate with qualified and experienced installers, who also attach great importance to the issue of training and continuous improvement of their qualifications, and are able to offer investors the best solutions for them, comments Piotr Kisiel, Board Member for Market Development, SBF Polska PV.
To participate in the Woltair Academy, all you need to do is apply by sending an inquiry to akademia@woltair.pl or via the website, the first courses are free of charge. The classes will be held twice a month at Woltair's headquarters at 35/37 Szyszkowa Street in Warsaw, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Each class organized at the Woltair Academy will be able to train up to 20 people at a time. The training agenda will be divided into sections on heat pumps, photovoltaic installations and energy storage.
