The exhibition "Models of the City Structure of Gliwice" opened at the Silesian University of Technology on July 1, marking the culmination of a semester's work by an international team of students and faculty. The project is the fifth installment of the series titled Models of City Structure and was carried out in a multi-person group in the PBL project-based-learning (project-based learning) formula using the hardware and software of the laboratory of the Silesian University of Technology Faculty of Architecture.
The project was carried out as part of the City Structure course under the direction of Dr. Tomasz Bradecki, Associate Dean for Cooperation and Development along with Dr. Michal Sitek, Associate Dean for Science along with an international team of students consisting of: Najmaldin Al-Taesh, Daria Bal, Aleksandra Baranska, Agnieszka Bonczek, Natalia Dymarska, Klaudia Elsner, Magdalena Fijal, Jagoda Grzelachowska, Natalia Hulbój, Marcin Jaceńciuk-Nowak, Adam Michalowy, Marta Sanigórska, Joanna Szczepanska, Ahmad Qais Waheed and Julia Wisniewska.

analysis of the structure of Gliwice
As part of the work, the authors prepared a bilingual scientific publication with the same title. In it you will see a collection of analyses of the structure of the city of Gliwice , including an analysis of the structure of road and public transportation, an analysis according to Kevin Lynch's method or an analysis of the share of built-up area. Some of them were carried out with the help of author's spatial models, and selected ones were mapped in the form of physical mock-ups.

Among other things, the publication used GIS software, tools for creating 3D models, drone photography and an application for creating 360-degree panoramic photographs. Also used were applications that allow models to be experienced in augmented and virtual reality. The authors used the capabilities of Sketchfab and Augment applications that allow 3D models to be experienced in virtual and augmented reality.
