"Tales from the Estates" is a five-episode production, during which viewers will discover the secrets of Wroclaw's estates: Brochow, Przedmieście Olawskie, Olbin and Kleczkow. The series was created by Strefa Kultury Wrocław as part of the Sąsiadujemy program. The Ikona film studio in Wroclaw is responsible for producing the episodes, and the virtual walks will be led by Szymon Maraszewski, a tour guide and author of the book "Wroclaw. The City is Yours!".
The pandemic has forced us to change many plans, including limiting the number of neighborhood walks. However, you can visit Wroclaw in different ways, after all, so we decided to present backyard stories precisely in the form of "Tales from Neighborhoods", a series that you will be able to watch anytime and anywhere! - explain the coordinators of the Sąsiadujemy program. In a situation where long-distance travel is still not advisable, it is not at all necessary to give up learning about new stories that are at our fingertips. We hope that you will check the knowledge gained in front of the screen later in reality and set off on walks in search of all the places shown in the series! - they add.
The protagonist of the first episode, scheduled to premiere on Saturday, July 25, will be Brochow, full of greenery. Viewers will discover the secrets of the city's oldest park, take a look at the atmospheric courtyards of railroad tenements and search for nature monuments located on the estate.
The next part, titled "Once upon a time in the Triangle" (available August 1), is a trip to pre-war Breslau and a visit to several prominent residents of the Olawski Suburb. In the second episode, viewers will learn, among other things, the marketing tricks of a shrewd entrepreneur and take a look at the unusual garden of an ambitious heir to a beer empire.
The third episode - "Flight over Kleczkow's Nest" (available from August 8) will be devoted to lesser-known places in Kleczkow, and another to secrets from backyard life in Olbin (the episode "Secret Life of Olbin" will be available from August 15).
The fifth episode, titled "Seekers of lost backyards," will present little-known places where one can relax and spend time more or less actively with family and friends (the episode will be available from August 22).

Each episode of "Tales from the Estates" will last about 20 minutes. Starting July 25, episodes will be published weekly on Facebook Sąsiadujemy and Youtube channel of Strefa Kultury Wrocław.
