If cooking is your hobby, it means that you spend a lot of time in the kitchen. It is important that it is equipped with functional appliances. Equally important is aesthetics, which affects the good mood during the daily busyness. The sink is a reflection of the function of the tower on the chessboard. It is difficult to imagine a successful feast without wing support.
When creating the concept for the new Maris sink series, Franke designers had to answer some important questions. Is a drainer still necessary in the kitchen? What should be the optimal capacity of the sink? What should be done to make it durable and easy to clean? And finally - what should its design be?

Spectacularly large bowl
Dishwashers these days are standard kitchen equipment. They wash and dry dishes, so a traditional drainer, is often not necessary. That's why Franke designers created sinks from the new Maris series without a drainer. However, they used in them an extremely capacious chamber, in which you can comfortably wash larger pots and even a tray from the oven. So, anything that won't fit in the dishwasher can be thrown into the Maris compartment.
A large bowl can also come in handy for some housework as a place to put away dirty things. Lacking a drainer, it also means more valuable space on the worktop.

Design and technology
The sink is used in more than 60% of all kitchen work. It is needed, both when preparing meals and when cleaning the kitchen. So a sink that is functional provides real support in the kitchen. Maris models, thanks to their optimal depth, reduce water splashes. The shape of the bowl has gentle curves for easy cleaning. The material of Franke sinks is also conducive to maintaining proper hygiene. Longevity is ensured by Fragranit+, consisting of 80% quartz, one of the most durable materials in nature. The whole is further protected by Sanitized® technology, which contains silver ions. Thanks to it, the growth of harmful microorganisms on the surface of the sink is reduced by 99%. At the same time, the material is resistant to short-term exposure to high temperatures, up to 280°C, impacts and scratches. This makes Franke sinks last in the kitchen for many years.

Beauty in simplicity
Minimalist and aesthetically pleasing sinks from the Maris line fit into various design styles: modern kitchens, industrial, classic, etc. Franke offers as many as twelve versions of the sink to choose from, differing in the size and configuration of the bowl.
