Schöck Tronsole - protection against impact sounds in stairwells

04 of September '20

The Tronsole system from Schöck, which acts as a comprehensive acoustic solution, effectively separates stairs from landings, ceilings and walls. It consists of six ready-to-install products that attach directly to the stairs. Schöck Tronsole elements effectively soundproof prefabricated and monolithic staircases, straight and interlocking staircases and treads used in stairwells of multi-family houses or terraced houses. The high quality of the system means that the solution improves impact sound insulation by almost 10 dB compared to standard solutions for sound insulation.

Schöck Tronsole® typu Z

Schöck Tronsole® type Z

Schöck Tronsole® type Z

Anelement used to acoustically separate a restroom (monolithic or prefabricated) from the walls of a staircase. Schöck Tronsole® Type Z makes it unnecessary to build a floating floor on the intermediate landing. Thanks to its use, the construction process is optimized and the intermediate resting joist can be made in filigree technology. Thus, for example, with a slab thickness of 18 cm or more, an unobstructed joint is achieved because the wall element is not visible from underneath. The Schöck Tronsole® Type Z consists of a wall element and an optionally available Z Part T load-bearing element.

  • Wall element with closing frame, connection to L-type panel
  • Tronsole® Type Z (wall element + carrier element) achieves fire resistance class R120 as standard
  • ITB approval giving design security

Schöck Tronsole® typu T

Schöck Tronsole® type T

Schöck Tronsole® type T

Element used to acoustically separate a flight of stairs (monolithic or prefabricated) from a landing or floor slab (monolithic or prefabricated). Schöck Tronsole® Type T combines high architectural requirements with easy installation on site or in a prefabrication plant. With its use, all standard joist thicknesses and staircase widths can be realized. The simple joint profi l makes it possible to join with a uniform joint running around the entire element. When using this element, it is not necessary to make a console support on the spoiler and run.

  • Standard in fire resistance class R90 for fire protection
  • ITB approval giving design security

Schöck Tronsole® typu F

Schöck Tronsole® type F

Schöck Tronsole® type F

Anelement used to acoustically separate stair runs (prefabricated parts) from floor joists or floor slabs (supplied in prefabricated or semi-prefabricated form). These are the elements, giving full assurance during installation. Schöck Tronsole® is attached with integrated adhesive tapes to the precast. This ensures that the Tronsole® also remains in the correct position during stair installation. The separation of the stair run and the floor slab ensures that no dirt can enter the gap, minimizing the risk of sound bridging during execution work.

  • Adapted for a support depth of 13-16 cm
  • Efficient solution for providing reliable sound attenuation between the stair run and the joist/ceiling
  • Available in 5 different lengths. Available in 2 strength levels as standard. Higher strength levels available upon request. Fire resistance class R120.
  • ITB approval giving design security
