On March 17, 2022, LAM Joinery initiated a series of workshops for 11 final-year students in cooperation with the Department of Furniture Making at the University of Life Sciences in Poznań. Participants of the event have the opportunity to learn about the products of partner companies and verify how a carpentry shop equipped with modern machinery actually functions.

Students will design a piece of furniture in the "storage" category, going through the entire creation process. Starting with verifying the needs of users, benchmarking through technical analysis of the development to the selection of materials, colors, decors and other elements that will give unique character, but also functionality to the new solutions.
The best project selected by a jury consisting of the owners of LAM carpentry, REHAU, PFLEIDERER, GTV and on behalf of the university: Dr. Beata Fabisiak, Dr. Eng. Krzysztof Wiaderk and Dr. Eng. Adam Majewski will be implemented in the form of a prototype.
The first consultations are behind us. The students presented their proposals, jointly discussing them with industry and academics. We will know the final designs at the end of April.
