Lena Lighting and Acustio announce a joint success! Co-created lamps with Colline x Terrano acoustic panels, which have just appeared in the portfolio of both brands, have been recognized in one of the most important competitions in the design world. The Red Dot Design 2023 award will once again go to Polish manufacturers.
Last year, Lena Lighting received two awards: for the Sizzano lamp, which refers to nature in its design and workmanship, and for the UVC-Sterilon Flow device, which eliminates bacteria, fungi and mold from the air. Meanwhile, for the Acustio brand, this is the third award in this competition. In 2020, the Silentum family was awarded the most prestigious Red Dot Best of the Best title, while Colline wall panels, designed by Aleksandra Mętlewicz and Mateusz Gaczkowski, were awarded in 2022. The Colline panels are the outer part of the Colline x Terrano.

The Red Dot Design Award is one of the most recognizable design competitions. It honors products of everyday use that impress both in appearance and functionality. In this year's edition, Lena Lighting and Acustio are celebrating a joint success. The brands have created the innovative Colline x Terrano acoustic lamps, which have just been released. They combine elegant, sophisticated design, energy-efficient lighting and top-notch sound-absorbing components. Colline x Terrano acoustic lamps have been created to build spaces conducive to work, relaxation and the daily challenges of day and night.

The design of the Colline x Terrano acoustic lamp was based on Colline's internationally award-winning collection of acoustic panels (If Design Award, Long Listed Dezeen, New York Design Award in GOLD status), which premiered last year. With a consistent design, the Colline panels and Colline x Terrano lamps enable the design of a harmonious space with a consistent design line.
The design of the Colline x Terrano line was inspired by nature and contemporary art. The analogy is easy to see, as acoustic lamps can create an arrangement full of waves falling and rising again and again. On the other hand, the choice of colors allows to create fanciful visual arrangements. The light emanating from the panels introduces a unique atmosphere. It will also promote concentration while working.
When designing Colline x Terrano, we took care of a wide range of functionalities that provide the possibility to create unique interiors. Comfort goes hand in hand with unique design, so acoustic lamps can become a decorative focal point. Colline x Terrano uses highly energy-efficient lighting. Lamps based on modern LED modules are also offered with DALI control, allowing remote adjustment of light intensity to the prevailing conditions. Available versions synchronized with the Clue In system will make creating a perfectly lit interior a real pleasure. Lena Lighting's proprietary system guarantees the ability to set lighting scenes, dim the lamps or program the lighting parameters of individual lamps from an application on the phone or from the control panel. Meanwhile, the low UGR of 12-19 ensures the elimination of glare and maximum comfort for the eyes.

The acoustic panels themselves are made of the highest quality natural felt (100% wool) and synthetic felt, both of which have sound-absorbing properties. Additional acoustic filling enhances the absorbing effect.

Users can decide on the color of the panel and its shape, so they have a chance to create an original visual composition. They can also choose variants using NanoFelt Ag technology from Acustio, which creates a microbiological barrier. Nano-silver particles ensure at all times that no harmful microorganisms accumulate on the surface of the product.
Lena Lighting and Acustio will crown their success by attending the Red Dot Design Award 2023 gala in Essen on June 19, 2023. This is a huge honor for both brands, especially since they have managed to maintain the highest quality and design of their products. The award-winning lamps will also go to the Red Dot Design Museum, where they will be on display for another year.
