On June 23, the premiere of Cosentino's latest collection, Silestone Sunlit Days, took place at the Secret Garden of Wilanów. The new offerings from the Silestone family of large-format surfaces, produced with HybriQ+ technology, surprised the attendees with exceptional production technology, which sets a completely new direction not only in design, but also in terms of care for the environment and its resources.
Invited guests appreciated the subtle shades of Faro White and Cincel Grey, while those seeking more intense shades delighted in the colors Arcilla Red, Cala Blue and Posidonia Green, which evoke the Mediterranean climate. The premiere of Cosentino's latest collection, which took place at Warsaw's Mysterious Garden Wilanów restaurant, brought together many representatives of the media, architectural firms and furniture manufacturers who have been working with Cosentino products for years.

Sustainability in architecture: trend, necessity or responsibility
After the presentation of the collection, the panel discussion "Sustainability in architecture: trend, necessity or responsibility" began with the participation of distinguished guests: Ewa Trzcionka (lecturer at SWPS/SOF, ecoethicist and business advisor), Aneta Konowrocka (Cosentino), Michal Bachowski (Noizz) and Prof. Jan Sikora (Sikora Interiors). The invited guests discussed, among other things, global trends and considered what sustainable architecture is and what contemporary eco-friendly design is all about. They also talked about possible solutions that manufacturers can implement, as well as the ideas and processes that have led Cosentino to its current position as an environmentally and socially responsible company. There was also mention of the groundbreaking role of the Sunlit Days collection and HybriQ+ technology in the sustainable production of the Silestone brand.
If we start thinking with three imperatives - reduction, circularity thinking and sustainability - then we have a chance for the product to serve many generations. The bridge to this is education," said Ewa Trzcionka.

Jan Musiałowski's recycling installation
Thanks to the support of the ToTuArt Gallery, an art installation by sculptor Jan Musiałowski was created before the guests' eyes during the meeting. The sculpture is unique not only because of the circumstances and talent of the young artist. It is also fully in line with the idea of the new Sunlit Days collection, which contains at least 20 percent recycled materials in its composition. Jan Musialowski created his work using samples of those Silestone colors that have been discontinued, thus giving them a whole new life.
The sculpture created at the launch of Cosentino's new collection was meant to represent a kind of emotional aura. A plaster mold prepared in advance became the sketch for covering the structure with Silestone mosaic. This material inspired me with its unusual color and texture," sculptor Jan Musiałowski said of his work.
Thanks to Cosentino's cooperation with ToTuart Gallery, the artist's work will be put up for auction, and all proceeds from its sale will contribute to the account of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity. On behalf of ToTuart Gallery, gallery owner Marek Duchnowski and gallery director Agnieszka Budzyńska talked about the installation and its future.

Inspired by life and respect for nature
The Silestone Sunlit Days hybrid mineral surface is completely carbon-neutral, as Cosentino has committed to offsetting the CO² emissions generated throughout the collection's life cycle. The company has achieved this through sustainable production, combined with a commitment to a number of voluntary UN-accredited projects that offset carbon emissions into the atmosphere. These include land reforestation programs, as well as a partnership program to protect the seabed.
