We would like to invite you to participate in a competition for a remix of free culture, under the slogan "Poużywaj sobie!"organized by the Wikimedia Poland Association.
The aim of the initiative is to build awareness towards the resources and possibilities offered by materials on the free license, and to encourage as many people as possible to create collages based on the collections of cultural institutions made available on Wikimedia Commons.

The contest is part of the GLAM (Galleries, Libraries, Archives, Museums) initiative, which brings together cultural institutions and Wikipedia to widely disseminate art on the Internet, based on free licenses. Wikimedia Poland is organizing it in cooperation with the Digital Center, which has implemented a sister project, "Poużywaj sobie! Collections of Warsaw cultural institutions on the web".
the idea of freedom and openness
The competition is addressed to artists, female artists, students, PhD students, postgraduates of art faculties and broadly defined participants and participants of the creative industry. Single works can be submitted to the competition, but also series of works, the theme of which refers to the idea of freedom and openness.
The jury consists of:
- Iwona Demko - artist, Ph.D., leading the Intermedia Extension Studio of the Sculpture Workshop at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow,
- Zuzanna Dolega - Gdańsk-based artist and lecturer at the Faculty of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk
- Zofia Reznik - art researcher and curator who teaches at the E. Geppert Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw.

- address: works should be added to the Wikimedia Common resources, and detailed information is available in the guide.
The prizes in the contest are vouchers to photo, art or multimedia stores worth up to 1,500 zlotys.
