Pipelife manufactures plastic piping systems for use in infrastructure and residential, industrial and engineering applications. The company is one of the three largest European manufacturers in its industry. In Poland, it has two factories - in Kartoszyn near the Tricity, in the Żarnowiec Special Economic Zone, and in Strzałków near Radom, where it recently built a modern hall. Both plants use Flowcrete's Peran STB Compact resin floors, which set the highest market standard in the industry in terms of mechanical strength.
Pipelife is part of the international holding company formed by the Wienerberger Group and is one of the world's leading suppliers of plastic pipes and fittings. The company offers solutions for infrastructure, construction and the wider environment. These include sewer, water supply and drainage systems, as well as solutions that collect, treat and store excess rainwater for future use. Its products are used in homes and apartments, non-residential and engineering construction, and are also used in agriculture, including automatic crop irrigation systems.

The company employs more than 350 people in Poland, operates 28 factory depots and has two production facilities - in northern and central Poland. Both locations have been treated with Peran STB Compact epoxy-quartz flooring, an original technology developed by Flowcrete, in a light gray color scheme. In Kartoszyn, this flooring was installed in the production plant and in the high-bay warehouse, on a total area of 9,500 sq m, while in Strzalkow it was installed in the recently launched modern production hall, on an area of 4,000 sq m.

Floors at Pipelife's plants are mainly loaded with intensive pedestrian traffic, forklift traffic and other wheeled vehicles. They are punctually affected by heavy production machinery, subject to vibration during operation. Due to housekeeping requirements, the flooring used in these investments had to be easy to clean, with slip resistance suitable for dry environments.
The flooring system based on quartz sand and epoxy resin works well in our factories given its durability and ability to withstand daily wear and tear. At both plants, we chose light gray shades of flooring, which optically enlarge production and warehouse spaces and make the typically industrial environment aesthetically pleasing and friendly to look at," said Janusz Manteufel, Deputy Technical Director at Pipelife Polska and Production Plant Manager at Kartoszyn.

Peran STB Compact is a flooring solution proven in thousands of projects around the world, primarily in manufacturing and warehouse facilities and public buildings. This epoxy-quartz mechanically trowelled system is characterized by high scratch, impact and abrasion resistance (AR score 0.5 in a test conducted in accordance with PN-EN 13892-4). It is also chemically resistant.

The application technology of Peran STB Compact floor gives the possibility to obtain various textures, adapted to individual conditions of use and requirements for the degree of anti-slip. The mixtures of sands dyed in different colors used in this coating provide an attractive visual effect. The floor is available in 20 standard colors, and it is also possible to create unique mixtures of dyed sands to order.
