Located on Zamoyskiego Street in Zabrze, the water tower is one of the gems of industrial architecture, which until recently was in danger of being demolished. In 2018, however, the city managed to obtain funding, thanks to which the unique monument gained a new face. The opening of the facility to serve residents and tourists is scheduled for late 2021 and early 2022.

The restored water tower has retained numerous references to its unique, historic character, as exemplified by the red brick that adorns its facade. All interiors have been extensively renovated, and a glass staircase with elevator has been brought next to the tower. At its top is a vantage point that allows you to admire the panorama of the city and, in good weather, the Beskids. The renovated building will house, among other things, a Living Crafts Center, an Academy for Young Talents, a café and an interactive exhibition introducing coal-related issues.
