We are proud to announce that Merida sp. z o.o. has installed photovoltaic panels on the roofs of the company's buildings, and the total capacity of all installations is 640 kWp, including, in the Wroclaw district, 450 kWp, and this is one of the largest solar distributed power plants in Wroclaw and the surrounding area. Our project allows us to reduce carbon dioxide emissions into the atmosphere by more than 500 tons per year, equivalent to the assimilation of this gas by about 40,000 trees.
This is the first stage of Merida's investment in green renewable energy, ultimately we plan to equip all Merida's branches with photovoltaic panels by 2024, and the total capacity of all installations should exceed 1,500 kWp, which will produce nearly 1.35 GWh of electricity annually.
Investments already completed: Wrocław, Tyniec Mały near Wrocław, Poznań, Leszno, Jelenia Góra, Ruda Śląska, Wałbrzych.

The attached video shows the photovoltaic power plant on Merida's central warehouse in Tyniec Mały. The installation consists of 1058 panels covering an area of nearly 8500 m². The investment guarantees the production of 0.4 GWh of electricity per year.
Such power satisfies the annual demand of our central warehouse for electricity.
