At the Hotel Laurichhof property located at the foot of the beautiful sandstone Polabian Mountains in picturesque Pirna, fantasy becomes reality. Renowned interior designer Annette Katrin Seidel, her husband, architect Uwe Seidel, and her son, architecture student Franz Philip, have worked over the past five years to make their vision of this highly original design hotel a reality. So full of creativity, passion and unparalleled style, the property cannot be compared to any other hotel in the world.
Original character
The suites have been designed so that each tells its own special story, has a unique style and individual character. The meticulousness of the development of each room can be seen even in the bedding used, making each room different from the others. It's no wonder, then, that in such a unique, sophisticated urban space, significant amounts of Neolith® surfaces were used to create an amazing visual effect throughout.

What's more, designers chose to use these materials because of their ease of use, high durability and sustainable manufacturing process. In addition, Neolith®'s wide range of color versions, models and finishes provided the necessary versatility to meet exact design specifications.
Upon crossing the threshold, the visitor immediately delves into the hotel's eclectic character. It only takes another few steps to discover the property's 27 rooms, which are a true feast for the eyes and senses. Each room exudes unique design intentions, and - truly unique - all furniture and elements are available for purchase by guests wishing to replicate the hotel's interior in their own home upon returning from their trip.
Just like at home
The first suite, called "Blueberry," showcases the Neolith® Nero Marquina model used for the bathroom floor. The single-color, marble-like model gives the impression of inviting ornamentation and is the perfect complement to the countertop and shelves in vibrant purple.

Green me
Next, the Neolith® material was chosen to make the "Evergrins" suite inspired by the beauty of nature. The design of this unique space is dominated by vibrant accents of luminous green.
The Neolith® Concrete model was selected for the bathroom flooring, which was also used to realize the upper cladding of the suspended countertops. This neutral yet elegant bathroom provides the perfect contrast to the dynamic shades in which the rest of the apartment is bathed.
In the middle of the suite, the Concrete model was used for the floors, providing an unobtrusive subtlety that accents the dynamic, electrifying green of the rest of the space.

Back to nature
The third apartment, where Neolith® was applied, is called "Mowgli". The rooms feature a highly original tropical theme inspired by Rudyard Kipling's classic work "The Jungle Book."
They were kept in more muted, earthy tones than most of the rest of the apartment, guarding against exaggeration to create the atmosphere of a dense tropical forest. Neolith® La Bohème was used for the flooring in the kitchenette and the bathroom floor and walls, providing a fresh, tree-like aesthetic.

I was persuaded to go with Neolith mainly because of the realism of the decoration of this surface, which identically reproduces the material to which it is supposed to refer, says Franz Philip Seidel.
Hotel Laurichhof offers its guests much more than just a stay in a luxury hotel. The unique arrangements of the suites are meant to broaden horizons and illustrate the idea that imagination is the only limit when designing interiors.
