Katarzyna Nowak
Architect at MVRDV, artist, tutor at the Royal Art Acedemy in The Hague. She is the winner of Archiprix Nederland 2016 and a finalist in the Prix de Rome Architecture Nederland 2018 competition, and has received a talent development grant from Stimulerings Fonds NL for 2019 - 2020. Together with Jens Jorritsma, she runs the interdisciplinary practice OBSCURA in Rotterdam.
Katarzyna Nowak specializes in designing the "void" that defines the mass of objects. As part of her design research, she explores and discovers the contextualizing properties of architecture in cultural typologies.
