Zofia Fedorów talks about gaining experience in architectural offices of various sizes in Poland, discusses the differences between professional work and study periods, and tries to dispel myths often repeated at universities about architectural work.
Zofia Fedorów
Graduate of the Faculty of Architecture at the Wrocław University of Technology. She also studied at the Universidade do Minho in Portugal. Winner of competitions and scholarships. In her diploma work "SerpenTime: The Museum of Language in London" she confronted architectural language with other forms of language. This work was nominated for the 2019 SARP Zbyszek Zawistowski Diploma of the Year. The project also took third place in the international competition for the Museum of Language in London organized by Archasm and was recognized through numerous Polish and foreign publications. During her studies, she participated in the organization of the Maks Berg Days of Architecture in Wroclaw. She gained design experience in such offices as PORT Pracownia and Studio of Architecture, Architectural Design Office Konopski & Konopski and in Wiekiera Architekci Studio. She currently works at Kurylowicz & Associates. A lover of travel, broad culture, yoga and psychology.
