The Paradyż Designers competition, organized by Ceramika Paradyż, is one of the most important events in the calendars of Polish architects. This year's third edition received almost a thousand original, visionary projects from specialists in architecture and design. The fact that we are becoming a global society influenced the decision that this year the competition had an international character, and the scale of the event made it possible to learn more about the trends, level and ways of working of architects in countries other than Poland. The final gala began with a ceremonial welcome to guests and a performance by violinist Patrycja Piekutowska, who took guests on a fascinating musical journey through the world's capitals. Thanks to her interpretations, the audience felt the elegance of Viennese concert halls, the bustle of New York streets and the romance of Parisian boulevards.

creative challenges

After the performance, gala host Dorota Gardias invited to the stage members of the jury, prominent architects and designers, who shared their experiences and insights on the competition, as well as the level of works presented this year. Participants in the discussion included David Basulto, founder of ArchDaily, Magdalena Federowicz-Boule, founder of Tremend studio, Szymon Hanczar of hanczarstudio, Dr. Joanna Jurga and Aldona Chudzicka, representing Ceramika Paradyż.

The highlight of the evening was the awarding of the competition winners. Each project stood out not only for its aesthetics, but also for its functionality and innovative use of TRI-D quartz sinters, which fully meet the needs of the modern user. The winners received prestigious statuettes from the hands of Piotr Tokarski, Chairman of the Board of Ceramika Paradyż, and Paweł Bąk, General Director for Commercialization and Member of the Board. The winners also received attractive financial rewards to support further development of their careers. In April, the brand has already managed to invite the winners to Salone del Mobile to explore new paths of development and inspiration together. The rich program of their stay in Milan was supervised by the competition's content curator Marcin Szczelina, architecture critic and founder of Architecture Snob.
