The collection of modern kitchen furniture Madera, by Halupczok, was awarded the German Design Award 2023. In recognition of its outstanding design, combining innovative aesthetic and functional qualities, the modern kitchen received a special award in the Excellent Product Design category.
The German Design Award is one of the most prestigious and globally recognized design awards. An international jury of architects and designers, each year honors companies whose groundbreaking products influence global design. Among the dozens of members of the international jury is also a Pole - designer Tomek Rygalik.

The Special Mention German Design Awards 2023 in theExcellent Product Design category for the modern Madera kitchen is a tribute to its design, deftly combining aesthetic and functional qualities.
The Halupczok Design Team designers, inspired by nature, reflected its sensual beauty in the modern Madera kitchen in the form of irregularly wavy oak furniture fronts. Their spectacular color was obtained, thanks to the proprietary varnishing technology. Specially developed allowed in the process of manual application of patina, to bring out the natural grain of wood. The innovative side of the collection is presented by functional solutions - sensor-activated lighting, a proprietary system of mobile front, hiding shelves for kitchen accessories, and a mini garden, built into the kitchen island.
