We have met the finalists of the eighth edition of the Architectural Award of the President of the City of Warsaw. The plebiscite awards buildings and architectural events completed in 2021. Online voting will last until May 27.
The plebiscite, in which Varsovians and Varsovian women will indicate their favorite buildings, insets and books realized in 2021, begins May 13 and will last two weeks. In addition to the Internet users' prize, buildings will be awarded in categories:
- public architecture,
- commercial,
- residential,
- new life of buildings,
- public space design,
- architectural events.
In addition, the following will be awarded:
- an award for environmentally friendly solutions,
- an award for accessibility solutions, especially for people with limited mobility or perception,
- Grand Prix.

The buildings and events nominated for the awards were selected by a large jury, which included people representing the city - Michal Olszewski and Marlena Happach - as well as experts, female experts and people associated with the press - Grzegorz A. Buczek, Ewa Janczar. Donata Kończyk, Tomasz Majda, Grzegorz Piątek, Magdalena Pios, Daniel Piotrowski, Ewa P. Porębska, Marta Sękulska-Wrońska, Marcin Szczelina and Piotr Szumielewicz.
