Minimum form, maximum function
The MODUS E HD-K faucet took the form of a shiny, chrome-plated spout for surface mounting. Its form is reminiscent of raw industrial furnishings, yet it looks very subtle thanks to its shiny, smooth surface. It has a timeless character that will work well in a wide range of arrangements with a modern, loft or even retro character. The solid body was made with attention to every detail from high-quality chrome-plated brass, making it very durable and resistant to any mechanical damage. The smooth line of the spout goes into an aesthetically pleasing sliding wall-mounted rosette. Depending on your requirements, you can choose a model with a length of 229 or 272 mm. At the end of the body was placed a discreet infrared sensor. Such a solution allows to maintain impeccable minimalism of the arrangement, unlike products in which the photocell is mounted, for example, on the wall. Despite its very subtle appearance, the fixture conceals intelligent functions characteristic of SCHELL's range of electronic solutions.
Cost-saving functions and maximum hygiene
The MODUS E HD-K faucet is actuated without contact, when the hand is placed within the range of the infrared sensor, which can be calibrated from 2 to 13 cm. Water discharge occurs automatically and is shut off when the hand is removed. MODUS E HD-K is a solution for cold and premixed water, which, together with a minimum flow rate of 3 l/min, ensures maximum economy. This is a major advantage especially for commercial and semi-commercial applications. The solution also takes care to eliminate the risk of uncontrolled outflow of water due to, for example, jamming of the photocell. The material of the body itself complies with strict German regulations on drinking water quality. Maximum hygiene is guaranteed by an anti-stagnation program that flushes the system 24 hours after the last use, preventing the multiplication of bacteria. The fixtures are also suitable for short-term thermal disinfection in 70ºC water. Installation of the solution does not require running separate cables, as it is powered by four alkaline batteries. As a result, it can easily be used not only in new buildings, but also in retrofits.
