Warsaw, May 14, 2024 - High-quality lighting plays an important role in the success of a designed exhibition. Light attracts visitors' attention, creates the right atmosphere and enhances the perception of the objects on display. Zumtobel has developed the AGILIO motorized LED projector, which can move thanks to mounted motors, to meet exactly these requirements: AGILIO offers an optimum lighting experience and works especially well in rooms with high ceilings and frequently changing installations - such as retail product displays, museums, theaters or religious facilities. AGILIO leverages its strengths wherever flexible accent lighting is needed, but manual adjustment would be too difficult, costly or risky. This means that the projectors can be controlled from the ground, even when they are very high up, so there is no need for expensive lifts, scaffolding or ladders.
Convenient operation via apps and tablets
A special advantage of these projectors is their convenient operation via the dedicatedAGILIO app, available on both Android and iOS devices. This allows you to intuitively control all the functions of the luminaire using your tablet - rotating, tilting, zooming and dimming in real time, allowing you to perfectly adjust the LED projectors - without the need for specialized knowledge, all at the touch of a finger. This provides ultimate flexibility and ensures that objects on display are always presented in the best light. The projectors are controlled wirelessly via Bluetooth iQ.Mesh technology, and event professionals can additionally use DMX protocol - wirelessly via CRMX or via a wired connection thanks to innovative DoP (Data over Power) technology. The latter uses a single line for data and power, eliminating the need to install additional cables, resulting in less effort and cost.
The combination of motorized projectors with app-based control enables extremely flexible and balanced use of space. Even temporary exhibitions can be harmoniously lit with little staff involvement and minimal technical expertise required. The latest LEDs and optical system also take energy efficiency to a new level in lighting. Another advantage of the AGILIO is that the light reaches every nook and cranny of the exhibition space: this projector can be rotated horizontally up to 225° in both directions and tilted vertically up to 120° in both directions for maximum flexibility in projector settings. The 16-bit data transfer ensures precise and smooth movements.
What's more, the AGILIO guarantees precise light distribution, so it can either highlight objects with clear contours or flood them with a soft stream of light, as needed. The AGILIO 's motorized zoom lens allows the angle of illumination to be adjusted from 15° to 35° and can be smoothly, changed via 8-bit data transfer. With a dimming function from 1 to 100%, the illumination intensity can be flexibly and precisely adjusted.
All luminaire functions (rotate, tilt, zoom and dim) can be controlled intuitively and in real time using a tablet, so LED projectors can be perfectly positioned. This provides maximum flexibility and always shows exhibition objects in the best light.

Uniform light intensity and precise color rendering
AGILIO combines precision optics with a high luminous flux of up to 5000 lumens at Ra>=96 for perfectly accentuated illumination. This provides extremely even light output with a three-dimensional effect and excellent color rendering, while preventing light scattering and excessive shadowing of the objects on display. LED projectors are now available in warm white (3000 K) and neutral white (4000 K) light colors with excellent color rendering (Ra=>96, R9>80). As a result, they cover a wide spectrum of light, from providing a sense of calm to energizing and energizing. Thanks to an active temperature-controlled cooling system, the projector does not overheat, and its lenses and optics retain their original quality.
AGILIO 's design combines subtle elegance with superior functionality. The slim cylindrical housing made of die-cast aluminum, covered with white paint with micro-texture, fits perfectly into stylishly designed exhibition spaces.
